Our 8th Grade ELA course challenges students to think deeply, write effectively, and engage with complex texts. Throughout the year, students explore literature, informational texts, media literacy, research writing, argumentative writing, and historical nonfiction, including a study of The Diary of Anne Frank. Students leave the course better prepared for high school English while building a portfolio of polished writing.

  • A paper and pencil is all they need. The teacher will post a message in the classroom if they need anything else.

    Unit 2: Understanding Human Experiences – The Diary of Anne Frank
