I believe that developing new skills is a lifelong journey, which is why I encourage my students to embrace challenges and view mistakes as opportunities for growth. In my own homeschool, I make it a priority for my children to learn a new skill every year, whether it's guitar, Spanish, or knitting. By fostering a love for learning and a mindset of persistence, I aim to inspire my students to be lifelong learners who are driven by curiosity.

I also enjoy reading, a good cup of coffee, and video games.

🏫 Teaching Philosophy and Style:

My passion for teaching began long before I became an educator. As an 8-year-old, I asked for a laminator and school supplies instead of toys, and my parents helped me transform half of our basement into a classroom where I "taught" my younger sisters. I also loved helping my aunt prepare her Kindergarten classroom each August. Today, that same passion drives my teaching philosophy. I strive to create a welcoming, engaging classroom where students feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and discover the joy of learning. Through interactive lessons, hands-on activities, and meaningful connections, my goal is to help every student build confidence, develop a lifelong love of learning, and realize their full potential.
